Baked Brussel sprouts with Almonds

Brussel sprouts are a wonder veggie that is rich in vitamin C.These miniature cabbages when, cooked right has the perfect crunch, texture, and flavor to it.

The below recipe is an inspiration from one of the recipes I read in a magazine. This recipe brings out the goodness of the Brussel sprouts along with the added crunch of almonds.

Here I present the recipe for Baked Brussel Sprouts with almonds!

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Baking Time: 40 minutes

Serves: 3 to 4


Brussel Sprouts – 2 Lb

Slivered almonds – 1 cup

Red chilli powder – 1 Tsp

Cumin Powder – 1 Tsp

Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

Olive oil – 1 tbsp

Salt – 1 tsp / as per taste


Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Wash and chop the Brussel sprouts into halves or quarters.

In a large mixing bowl, add the Brussel sprouts, oil, spice powder, almonds, and salt. Mix well.

Transfer these to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven.

Serve hot as a snack or this goes well even with phulkas or rotis.
