Here is the recipe for Raw Mango Chutney…

Raw green Mango – half of the big size mango (half cup of chopped mango)

Shredded coconut – 1/4 cup

Green chillies – 2 to 3

Ginger – half inch

Salt – as per taste

For tempering:

Oil – 1 tbsp

Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp

Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves – few – chopped finely

Grind the chopped mango, shredded coconut, green chillies, ginger and salt together to a fine paste by adding half cup of water (chutney consistency)

Prepare the tempering in a pan by heating oil and sauté the ingredients mentioned under the ‘for tempering’ section.

Add the tempering to the ground chutney.

Now your tangy mango chutney is ready to be served.

Serve it with some hot rice or Dosa 🙂 I bet you will get hooked to its taste 🙂
