Pasta Chaat

My little one loves Pasta. He loves pasta with red sauce and gets very excited every time I make Pasta.

I had been looking for different versions of making Pasta. My son is not a great fan of trying new things out. So I wanted a recipe he wouldn’t hesitate to try.

My close friend shared this Pasta Chaat recipe with me. I love the whole Indian twist in this Italian dish. Found it interesting, so tried it and was glad when my son said “mmmm….this is yummy!”

This is a very quick and easy snack.

Thank you Lekshmy for sharing this recipe!

METHOD

Boil water in a deep vessel, add the pasta and salt. Cook till Al-dente. Remove and strain the pasta under cold water. Add some olive oil, mix well and keep aside.

In a pan, heat oil or butter – I used garlic and herb butter of the kerrygold brand.

Add onions and green chillies. Saute till onions are translucent. then add tomatoes. Cook for few minutes making sure you do not over cook the veggies.

Once the tomatoes are half done, add the chopped spinach and coriander leaves. Sauté for about a half a minute before adding chilli flakes, chaat masala powder and salt.

Sauté for a sometime after adding the spices.Turn off the heat and add the cooked pasta, mix well bit gently.
