Sabasige Palya (Dill Leaves Sabji)

Greens are the power source of nutrition! Be it spinach, kale or fenugreek! Each one has its own nutrients power bank which is highly essential for a healthy living.

One of my absolute favorite among the greens is Dill leaves or sabasige soppu as it is called in Kannada. Dill leaves are widely used in making Sabasige Akki Rotti and sambar.

The below recipe is a simple sabji my mom used to make as a side with rice. This dish enhances the aroma of the dill leaves making it absolutely irresistible

A hot bowl of rice, dill leaves sabji and a dollop of ghee on top – this combination is sure to satisfy your hunger also making sure that your body gets a good amount of nutrition.

P.S: This recipe is also good for breastfeeding moms.
