There are days when you crave for something different and offbeat for breakfast. Something beyond the regular idli and dosa.
Today was one such day. I looked around the kitchen – saw some of my favourite fruits. I decided to treat myself to an exciting fruity breakfast 🙂
I ended up making this super healthy sumptuous Avocado parfait with some oats added to it 🙂
So here is the recipe for Oats N’ Fruits Breakfast Parfait.
INGREDIENTS:
Avocado – 1
Banana – 1
Raspberries – a handful
Oats – 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar / honey – 2 tsp (optional)
METHOD:
Cook the oats in the microwave for 1-2 minutes with equal amounts of water.
In a bowl, add the avocado, banana, raspberries and sugar / honey. Blend them or mash them well. You can use the blender or just mash into chunky pieces.
In a glass, first add the oats and the avocado. Follow it up with banana and berry blend in separate layers.
Your healthy filling breakfast for a healthy start of the day is ready 🙂
