Muffins ! The moment you hear the word muffin i bet you must be thinking of a sweet, soft and a fluffy dish.
What if i say i have a recipe for a savory muffin ? You heard that right ! Here is the recipe for Herb ‘N’ Garlic muffin.
These muffins have been made using wheat flour and not all purpose flour. There you go ! You can now gorge on these muffins without an ounce of guilt.
Wheat flour – 1 Cup
All purpose flour / maida – ¼ cup
Baking soda – ¼ tsp
Baking powder – ½ tsp
Butter – around 50 gms (half on one slab)
**I used garlic n herb butter. But you could use plain butter and then add the different spices needed as per your choice.
Yogurt – ¾ cup
Salt – as per taste
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line the mini muffin tray with muffin liners.
Sieve the wheat flour, maida, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix the cold butter well till the mixture looks like the bread crumbs texture.
Then add the yogurt slowly and mix well.
Pour the mixture into muffin liners and bake for 15 minutes or more till a skewer comes out clean.
Serve with some fresh juice or fruits of your choice.
Kids also would love these muffins since its lightly flavored.
